Hartford Lab has been fortunate to work across a wide variety of industries including advertising, algorithms/AI, beauty, biotech, data, decentralized systems, entertainment, hardware, personal health, IoT/IoE, social media, social networks, and VR/AR.

We’ve built, studied, and worked with an array of different business models (e.g. consumer, enterprise, IG, marketplace, mobile, SaaS), and operated in different capacities along a spectrum of pre-funded ideas to publicly traded companies.

We were once described as a “business development accelerator meets (human) VC firm". This is because our Innovation Lab often operates by structuring lower-cost, alternative fee arrangements (e.g. equity, rev share) based on the stage and needs of the companies we work with.

It’s been quite exciting and we’ve sincerely enjoyed the people, technologies, and creative ideas we’ve gotten to work with.
