Building Tomorrow

When Hartford Lab was started 8 years ago, we always intended to build enough of a foundation that we could return to the drawing board.

​By the summer of 2014, the R&D Lab was officially born. 

​It serves as HL's internal venture creation silo, allowing us to ideate, incubate, and finance our own intellectual property and new ventures.

Hartford Lab is actively ideating on solutions to the hardest and most interesting problems we come across, and will organically develop value produced where we can.

We like to remind ourselves that ​“the future is built" and that it can only be built a 1st time once. We find purpose in trying to play our small part. We simply are trying to "make the pie bigger" (and to make sure it tastes good too).
